Write your own response to Network

Thu 1, Sat 3 and Sat 10 March

Attend a performance of Network on Thursday 1 March, and then a playwriting workshop on Saturday 3 March equipping you to begin writing your own response to Lee Hall’s Network. You’ll have five days to write a 5–7 page play extract and then on Sat 10 March spend the day hearing the extracts read aloud by NT actors and receive feedback from the group. Led by Nina-Marie Gardner. 


Schedule:
Thu 1 March, 7.30pm: Network performance. Join us beforehand from 6.45pm to meet other participants
Sat 3 March, 10.30am – 1pm: Playwriting workshop
Thu 8 March, 10am: submit your 5–7 page extract by 10am (can be done by email, no need to attend in person)
Sat 10 March, 11am – 5pm: Hear everyone's extracts read aloud by NT actors and receive group feedback

This workshop is designed to explore investigative and responsive dramatic writing. Through the Learning department, beginner writers are able to gain hands-on experience developing their ideas and seeing them come to life.


The price of this event includes a ticket to see Network on 1 March at 7.30pm (worth £31).
