Talk: Men and Mental Health

Inua Ellams will be joined by Keith Dube to explore current issues around mental health particularly looking at the issue for black men. Ellams researched this topic when writing his new play Barber Shop Chronicles. London-based writer and presenter (of online London station Radar Radio's breakfast show) Keith Dube recently appeared on BBC Three's Being Black, Going Crazy? which showed 26-year-old Dube meeting black people suffering a range of problems, including anxiety, depression, and psychosis. His writing and documentary aim to sensitively bring attention to the mental health crisis ongoing in black, British communities.
