Summer Space to Create

Young people performing on the NT Terrace

Summer Space to Create

This summer we are looking for 80 young people to take part in Space to Create. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with exciting artists including interactive theatre-maker Neil Connolly, Nathan Crossan-Smith and Rachael Nanyonjo, to bring ideas to life through experimentation, ingenuity and bold performance.

We are looking for all kinds of theatre-makers, performers, writers, directors, lyricists, musicians and dancers and all we ask is that you are prepared to take risks and be bold. The project will culminate in an outdoor performance at the National Theatre.

Project dates:

Thursday 26 July – Friday 3 August, 10am – 6pm (excluding Sunday 29 July)
You must be able to attend every date of the project to take part

Fee to take part: £40

We would never want cost to prevent anyone from taking part. Full and part-funded bursary places are available to reduce the fee and/or to support travel. If you would like to apply for a bursary please include this in your application.
