This workshop is available to 16–21-year-olds
Discover how the National Theatre production of Pinocchio was created through puppetry, movement and imagination in this Creative Development weekend led by Puppetry Director and Puppet Co-Designer, Toby Olié and Associate Puppetry Director, Sarah Mardel.
Explore the principles of puppetry, and learn to work in teams by putting physicality, emotion and thought into a character.
This free project includes a ticket to see Pinocchio at the National Theatre on Friday 26 January, 7pm. You must be available for all sessions and for the performance to take part.
How to apply:
We will be asking everyone to attend a fun, practical audition workshop on Thursday 18 January so we can find out more about you. Please let us know which times you are able to attend when you apply using this Google docs form. The application deadline is Thursday 11 January.
We would never want the cost of a project to prevent anyone from taking part. A limited number of travel bursaries are available. If you would like to apply for one, please indicate this on the form when you apply.
