The police just took Jamal away. Because Miss Tomlinson called them. Because she had to. Because of Prevent. But now Miss Tomlinson and the police are gone, and all that’s left is a shell-shocked class. Who knew Jamal?
What did he do? And what is gonna happen next? A play about fear, friendship and the creeping polarisation of our society.

Anders Lustgarten won the inaugural Harold Pinter Playwright's Award for If You Don't Let Us Dream We Won't Let You Sleep at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs. He is currently under commission from the Royal Court and the National Theatre among others, and adapted David Peace's The Damned United for the West Yorkshire Playhouse. His latest play Lampedusa had two runs at the Soho Theatre – back by popular demand – and at HighTide. An incredibly relevant piece about the current refugee crisis, it will tour in 2016. Anders is also developing original projects for television and radio. He is a long-standing political activist who has been arrested in four continents.
