The National Theatre and independent street food pioneers KERB have joined forces to create a fresh food and drink experience on the South Bank.
Using their renowned network of street food start-ups and independent restaurateurs, KERB are curating an outstanding offering across 11 spaces and restaurants at the National Theatre.
House is currently serving a delicious pre-theatre menu of great British cookery from Head Chef Joe Allen (BBC Million Pound Menu), and KERB at The Understudy, The Atrium Café, and the Espresso Bar have all reopened.
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to begin a career in theatre. Offered by a variety of departments, they combine college study with work at the NT.
Work placements at the NT are for people aged 18 and over, and are offered in a variety of different departments.

Our Casting department is responsible for casting all productions across our three stages and beyond. We champion diversity in all forms within casting decisions and we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive audition environment where actors are empowered to do their best work. Every year we meet in excess of 2,500 actors when casting.
The New Work Department is the engine room for the NT’s creative output, developing work and artists for our stages, and beyond. Last year, almost 1,000 artists worked on around 200 projects in development.
We are happy to receive and consider unsolicited scripts from the UK and Ireland, and whenever possible, we will try to respond positively to invitations to see work.
