10:30 - 11:30am Translating and Rewriting Ferrante’s My Brilliant Friend with Dr Enza De Francisci, Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of Glasgow
11:30 - 11:45am Break
11:45am - 12:30pm Speakers include Kirsten Shiell, Senior Props Supervisor, Charlotte King, Prop Buyer, Barrie Nield, Construction Supervisor, and Charles Court, Scenic Art Supervisor.
12:30 - 1:30pm Lunch
1:30 - 2:15pm Movement and Dramatic Violence: Hear from speakers Sarah Dowling, Movement Director and John Sandeman, Fight Director on how actors are choreographed to bring realistic action and dramatic violence to life.
2:15 - 2:30pm Break
2:30 - 4pm Inside the My Brilliant Friend Rehearsal Room: Nicky Allpress, Staff Director and members of the understudy company demonstrate how sections of the text were approached in rehearsals.
