How Designers use Model Boxes

Mon 10 December, 6pm
Running Time: 1 hour

The exhibition Playing with Scale shows how set models are used by many different people - from lighting and sound designers to scenic artists and prop-makers - to create a theatre production. In this panel discussion, esigners Bunny Christie and Tom Piper discuss how they use models to develop their designs, while National Theatre production manager Anna Anderson describes the typical journey of a model through various departments of the National Theatre. The discussion will be chaired by exhibition curator, Eleanor Margolies.
