Creativity from The Choir With No Name

Wed 2 October, 6pm
Running Time: 1 hour

A talk on the work of The Choir with No Name, who run choirs for homeless and marginalised people in locations across England.

The Choir with No Name’s four choirs, in Birmingham, Liverpool, London (run in partnership with Look Ahead) and Brighton (run in partnership with Brighton Housing Trust), sing pop, rock, soul, gospel, reggae and songs from musicals. Each choir gets together to rehearse every week with a decent dinner at the end of rehearsal, and they perform regularly in all types of venues from local homeless hostels to the Royal Festival Hall and everywhere in between.

This event will be a discussion on the vision and impact of this work and the extended support for homeless or marginalised people and will include contributions from The Choir with No Name members and choir ambassadors with lived experience. Please note there will not be a performance by the Choir itself.

Tickets £9 (£6 concessions)
