Different levels of membership offer different booking dates. You can see the booking dates for each upcoming season on this membership page once they have been confirmed.
Ensure that you are logged in. If you are not logged in the website will not recognise your membership status and will not offer you all the dates and performances that should be available to you. To check if you are logged in please look at the top of the current website page you are on. If you are not logged in the band at the top of this page will say “Login”.
If you have logged in and you are still unable to book for new season performances please press “F5” on your keyboard. This will refresh your page and should show the most up to date information.

We occasionally have tickets returned to us in advance by customers who are no longer able to attend their performance. It is often worthwhile checking the website for possible returns closer to the date on which you wish to attend. There are then two other possible ways to secure tickets for sold out performances:
1. Friday Rush
£10 Friday Rush tickets for all shows at the National Theatre are released online every Friday at 1pm for each of the following week’s performances and are limited to 2 per customer.
2. Customer Returns for Sold Out Shows
There is also a chance of tickets being returned to us for re-sale on the day of the performance by customers who are no longer able to attend. These possible late returns will be made available for sale on our website, up to 15 minutes before the start of the performance.
All customer returns are offered for re-sale at face value – we cannot offer any reduced price on these tickets.
Members receive priority access to tickets for all NT productions. You can find out about booking information from the pages of new shows which are listed on the What's on page.
You can see today's performances on our events listing page.
Please note that we don't sell tickets for performances that are not playing at our South Bank theatres on the day of performance. For these performances, tickets may still be available from the individual theatre's Box Office, details of which will be available on the individual events listing page for each show.
To select your own seats, click on an available section of the theatre immediately after clicking on a performance date in the performance listing.
You will see a seat map for your chosen section and you can click on individual seats to select the appropriate price (where more than one is offered). You will not be able to select an unavailable seat.
Click on each of the seats you wish to purchase. You will see that these seats will change colour to indicate that you have selected them.
To add your tickets to the basket, click on the 'Add to basket' button at the bottom of the screen.
If you change your mind and wish to choose a different seat, you can deselect the seat you are holding by clicking it again, or clicking in the seat section at the foot of the screen.
Tickets are released for new productions in one of our booking periods which occur every two to three months. Members are amongst the first to know, or Register and subscribe to the NT News regular email and we'll let you know when each new booking period opens.
