The National has three theatres - the Olivier, Lyttelton and Cottesloe - and on each day we present up to three different shows. We also have a programme of talks and events - Platforms - giving insight into the work of the theatre, plus outdoor events in summer. Every day there is also free music in the main foyer, prior to performances, and free exhibitions.

    Transfer to the Young Vic. Based on the much-loved book by Dr. Seuss, this tale will be colourfully adapted for the stage, for 3-6-year olds, by director Katie Mitchell.
