The Elephantom at the New London Theatre

Fresh from an acclaimed sold-out season at the National Theatre, Ross Collins’ much-loved The Elephantom, charged into the New London Theatre for a strictly limited summer season in 2014.

Magical entertainment for young and old, The Elephantom is a wonderfully inventive mix of puppetry, movement, dance, music – and theatrical ingenuity. This adaptation of Collins’ picture book about the little girl who is unexpectedly visited by a big blue elephant, is the perfect summer treat for all the family.

We have an Elephantom. He turned up on a Tuesday, just after tea-time.......

At first, the little girl is thrilled to have a ghost-elephant living in her house. He makes life so much more fun! But Elephantoms are a bit too big for houses and before long, he’s causing a lot of trouble. Come and join the fun with this intriguing story that fuels the imagination and touches the heart. The story of one little girl and her larger-than-life friend is set to get very messy indeed!

Suitable for children 3+

Devised in collaboration with the original company and all the performers involved in the workshops at the NT Studio.
