Director Simon Godwin and actor Tamara Lawrence (Viola) discuss the importance of disguises in the play.

One in a series of films which use a combination of interviews and production clips to explore Shakespeare productions at the National Theatre.

This film is designed to support students studying the play as part of a GCSE or A Level course in Drama or English Literature, with a particular focus on character, design and interpretation.
