We are looking for actors to play a number of roles from specific ethnic backgrounds for a potential new play. Overall dates are from 29 May to 2 September 2023.
Who are we looking to cast?
We are looking for actors to play roles from either of these two specific ethnic backgrounds:
- People of Moroccan heritage and/or from the North African Diaspora.
- People of Ethiopian heritage and/or from the East African Diaspora.
And the following age ranges:
- Ages for the female roles range between 18 and 60 years old.
- Ages for the male roles range between 25 and 60 years old.
We are keen to hear from those with acting experience onstage or onscreen, and/or people who are currently training or who have recently started working as an actor.
What else do I need to know?
- This project is fully paid in line with the Equity and the National Theatre agreement.
- You must be fully available between 29 May to 2 September to rehearse and perform.
- You can be based anywhere within the UK. We will be able to pay for subsistence. But please do state if you are based outside the M25.
