Training

Tom Deering studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and the Royal Academy of Music where he was made an Associate in the 2016 honours list.

Theatre

For the National: Standing at the Sky’s Edge (2023 Olivier Award for Best Score and Orchestration) and wonder.land

Other productions include: Tammy Faye at the Almeida; The Boy in the Dress for the RSC; and Made in Dagenham in the West End. He also worked with FKA Twigs on his Tiny Desk Concert for NPR Music.

Work as a composer includes: Committee at Donmar Warehouse; Pity at the Royal Court; and Little Red for National Youth Ballet of Great Britain.
