Hall studied as a contemporary classical composition scholar at the Royal College of Music.

Theatre

Productions include The Bodyguard (musical director) on UK tour; School of Rock (assistant musical director, rock-coach and associate supervisor) in the West End and on tours in South Korea and the UK; Waitress (cello and guitar) on UK tour; Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (guitars, keys, mandolin and assistant musical director) on UK tour; and The Spongebob Musical: Live on Stage! (guitar and keys) broadcast on Nickolodeon. Sam Hall has completed writing two new musicals, On The Edge about men’s mental health and Two Sisters an actor-musician folk-horror piece with Kerry Andrew, both directed by Broadway’s Patrick O’Neill with London performances scheduled for 2024. Hall also plays in various original projects, including alt-folk group You Are Wolf and fantasy hip-hop duo Shots At The Dragon.
