Jon Gingell is a guitarist, music editor and educator. He studied at Southampton University.

For the National Theatre: London Tide; as guitarist, work includes Peter Gynt (also Edinburgh International Festival; also programming work), Twelfth Night, A Pacifist’s Guide to the War on Cancer, Fela! (also notation work) and Nation; notation work includes Hadestown (also Broadway), wonder.land (also Théâtre du Châtelet) and The Threepenny Opera; programming work includes Roald Dahl’s The Witches, Hex, Dick Whittington, Saint George and the Dragon, All’s Well That End’s Well and The Black Album
