For the National: Hamlet and The Winter’s Tale.

As a director, recent work includes: A Christmas Carol at Shakespeare North Playhouse; Murder Ballads at Liverpool’s Royal Court, The Other Palace and Edinburgh Festival Fringe; Routes with Theatre Témoin (made with local refugees and asylum seekers).

As assistant director, recent work includes: Treasure Island at the Bolton Octagon; and Fiddler on the Roof at Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse.

Ellie Hurt was also part of the summer programme at Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre with Storyhouse, and was Assistant Director on Twelfth Night.
