For the National Theatre: Here We Are

On Broadway: music direction and conducting work for West Side Story (2020). Acting includes, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Chicago (2015 and 2013), Sunday in the Park with George, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (also on tour), Violet, Les Misérables (2006) and Assassins

Other theatre includes: music direction and conducting work includes Merrily We Roll Along at the New York Roundabout for Fiasco Theatre (including new arrangements and orchestrations); and Celebrating Sondheim for the New York Philharmonic at the Lincoln Center (featuring symphonic suites)

Alexander Gemignani is the artistic director of the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Music Theater Conference. He is also an associate professor at Northwestern University.
