The Ashcroft Room

The Ashcroft Room is the National Theatre's Members' Room, located on Level 3 of the NT, on the east side of the Olivier Circle foyer. With a backdrop of extraordinary views across the capital, the Ashcroft Room offers NT donors at Supporting Cast level and above a quiet place for drinks before and during performances. 

Opening Hours

The Ashcroft Room is open when performances are taking place in the Lyttelton and/or Olivier.  

Open Monday to Saturday, from 6pm until the end of the last interval. 

The Ashcroft Room is closed on Sundays and matinees.  

From time to time, it may be necessary to close the Ashcroft Room. Any closures will be listed below:

Visiting the Ashcroft Room

Bookings are not currently required - simply give the name on your membership to the host, and they’ll be delighted to look after you and your guests. Tables will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. 

Pre-show and interval drinks and bar snacks are available to purchase from the Ashcroft Room host during your visit. Please see our wine list and bar snacks menu below.  

At this time a full menu is not available to purchase in the Ashcroft Room, but members are welcome to bring up food items from the Atrium Café (ground floor).
