Activate a Gift Membership

Welcome to National Theatre Membership. With up to 26 productions in repertoire throughout the year at our South Bank home, West End transfers, UK and international tours and National Theatre Live broadcasts in cinemas across the globe, there has never been a better time to be an NT Member.

You are just a few steps away from beginning your year of membership with us. If you have received a gift membership voucher and would like to activate your membership now, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the ‘activate your membership today’ button below 
  2. On the next page, please select the membership level you’ve been gifted from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click ‘Activate Now’, then ‘Check out’
  4. You’ll be asked to login to your National Theatre account. If you don’t already have an account you can register now, or if you have forgotten your password please use the ‘Reset password’ function.
  5. Once logged in, you will be taken to the Order Summary page. Check your details are correct and then enter your Gift Membership Voucher Number (including the hyphen) in the ‘Gift or Credit Voucher ID’ box, then click the ‘Apply Voucher’ button.
  6. Click ‘Buy Now’ to complete your membership activation
  7. Once activated, you will receive a welcome email within one hour and your membership will be valid for 12 months.

Once you have activated your membership, you will be sent a welcome pack in the post and your membership will be active for one year.
