Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Bequests and planned giving can make a direct and lasting impact and contribution to the American Associates of the National Theatre (AANT), with considerable tax benefits for the donor.

Why make a planned gift to the American Associates of the National Theatre?

Planned gifts to the AANT provide an important source of support towards safeguarding the work of the National Theatre for future generations. Including the AANT in your estate plans and/or as beneficiary of a charitable trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy is something that absolutely anyone can do and it will provide essential support for every aspect of the National Theatre’s work both onstage and off, from productions and touring to learning projects and the development of new work at the Studio.

The future of the National Theatre should be one in which the organization can strive to create inspiring and daring theatre and produce ground-breaking initiatives which enable the NT to share its work with the broadest possible audience.

Your most personal and lasting gift can be of any size. Leaving just 1% of your estate can make a difference and will help future audiences to discover the wonder of theatre and enjoy the National as you do today.

How to leave a Planned Gift

Unless a different wish is expressed, all planned gifts will be directed to the Legacy Fund from which grants will be made every year, to support the National Theatre’s work. The Legacy Fund is administered by the Trustees of the Royal National Theatre Foundation, a registered charitable trust to which all legacy payments will be granted upon receipt.

The National Theatre Foundation was created with the aim of securing the future of the NT. Its support reaches all areas of the National’s important and wide-ranging work and enables the NT to plan for the future with confidence.
