Support the Future of the National Theatre through Legacy Giving
Legacy gifts to the AANT allow the National Theatre to plan, with confidence, ground-breaking initiatives and programs that enable the National Theatre to fulfil their mission to share their exceptional work with the widest possible audience. Including the AANT in your estate plans and/or as beneficiary of a charitable trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy is something that absolutely anyone can do and it will provide essential support for every aspect of the National Theatre’s work both onstage and off, from productions and touring to learning projects and the development of new work at the Studio.
When you include the AANT in your estate plan, you help to inspire the next generation of theatre goers and ensure that the National Theatre’s work is available to future audiences around the world.Benefits of Joining the AANT National Treasures
AANT National Treasures was formed to honor individuals who have made a legacy gift to the American Associates of the National Theatre. In appreciation for their generosity, AANT National Treasure members receive exclusive invitations to US and UK-based events and recognition in donor publications.
How to leave a Planned Gift
As little as one sentence in your will is all it takes to ensure a dynamic future of the National Theatre. And leaving just 1% of your estate can make a difference.
Here is our suggested wording for adding a gift to your will:
“To the American Associates of the National Theatre, a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization incorporated in the State of New York, having as it’s principle address at 247 West 30th Street, Suite 8F, New York, NY 10001, and EIN: 13-414012, I [name] of [city, state, zip code] hereby give, devise, and bequeath the sum of $___ or ___% of my estate for the general purposed of the American Associates of the National Theatre”.
All legacy gifts will be automatically directed to the Legacy Fund, unless a different wish is expressed. The Legacy Fund is administered by the Trustees of the Royal National Theatre Foundation and gifts are applied across the organization including NT Learning, NT Productions, NT Studio & New Work, and NT Premises.
To find out more about how to make a planned gift and how these gifts have an impact on the NT’s work, please contact Elana Lantry, AANT Development Executive at [email protected] / (212) 489-4783.
