Dominic Cooke on Follies

The director talks about his new production of Follies, chaired by David Benedict. Dominic Cooke is an Associate of the National Theatre and has previously directed The Comedy of Errors, Caryl Churchill’s Here We Go, and August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, which won the Olivier Award for Best Revival. David Benedict read drama at Hull University and worked as an actor and director before becoming theatre editor of the Independent, arts editor of the Observer and chief London critic of Variety. He is currently writing the authorised biography of Stephen Sondheim to be published by Random House in the US and Pan Macmillan in the UK.
