Do you feel passionate about women’s equality?
Hundred years ago (some) women in the UK were granted the right to vote, due to sheer determination to be heard. This is a day which celebrates these women and the beginning of political equality.
Expect a day full of Suffrage themed arts activities, talks and screenings. Write your own suffrage puppet scenes which will be performed in a Punch and Judy booth, create your own Zine, join in with panel talks and get into the mind-set of the kick-ass women from history that have made political rights what they are today. (Full schedule below).
Includes live demos of jujitsu that women from the Suffrage movement had to learn due to being the victim of targeted attacks – just for using their voice!
Please note your ticket includes access to three different spaces. There will be different activities happening throughout these spaces from 12-7pm, which you can choose to drop in and out of throughout the day.
Suitable for men and women of all ages that feel impassioned about equality.
Please note that Courage Everywhere readings are ticketed separately.
Tickets £10
