Explore storytelling and dance theatre in this practical workshop led by Movement Director Rachael Nanyonjo. Discover how to work as an ensemble and make moments from scripts physical. With an eclectic musical soundtrack prepare to play, create and, above all, move!

No dance experience is necessary – we just require an interest in movement and willingness to join in.

Rachael Nanyonjo is a British choreographer, director, movement director and lecturer who has worked in the UK and internationally.  She formed Kansaze Dance Theatre in 2011 and was the movement director on The Old Vic 12 in 2017.  Rachael has worked with a range of arts organisations including Southbank Centre, the Old Vic, the Young Vic, East London Dance and the National Theatre.  She is also a recipient of the British Council and Arts Council England Artists International Development Fund and was a One Dance UK (ADAD) Trailblazer Fellow 2015–2016.
