Aletta Collins is a choreographer and director, studied at the London Contemporary Dance School and is a former Associate Artist at
the Royal Opera House.

Other theatre includes: The Boy in the Dress for RSC; A Very Expensive Poison at the Old Vic; West Side Story (first new UK choreography) and Sweet Charity at the Royal Exchange; The Hairy Ape at the Old Vic and Park Avenue Armory; The Twilight Zone at the Almeida and in the West End; and Anna Nicole at the Royal Opera House and Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Dance commissions include: Blue Moon at the Royal Ballet; The days run away like wild horses and Awakenings at Rambert; and Maybe Yes Maybe, Maybe No Maybe for Phoenix Dance.

As director other theatre includes: If You Kiss Me, Kiss Me at the Young Vic; Hippolyte et Aricie at Berlin Staatsoper; Coraline at Royal Opera House, L’Opéra de Lille and Theater Freiburg; La Cenerentola and La Fanciulla del West at Opera North; Carmen at Salzburg Festival; and Aladdin at Bristol Old Vic.
