Dane Chalfin

Dane Chalfin is a singing/voice coach and rehabilitation specialist working in both commercial and clinical practice.

In theatre, he has worked with principal cast in Waitress, Motown, The Wind in the Willows, Rock of Ages, Hamilton, &Juliet, Mamma Mia, Jesus Christ Superstar, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Fiddler on the Roof, Six, Matilda, Wicked and Tina the Musical in the West End; and on national tours and regional productions of Saturday Night Fever, Tell Me on a Sunday, Shout!, Sunny Afternoon, The Producers, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Waitress.

Publications include Ultimate Guide to Singing (TC Helicon, 2016), The Singer-Songwriter Handbook (Bloomsbury, 2017), Training Contemporary Commercial Singers (Compton 2020) and The Voice Clinic Handbook (second editions, Compton, 2018).

Dane Chalfin has previously been president (2015–16) and director (2005–14) of the British Voice Association.
