Samantha Adams is an HCPC Registered Dramatherapist and Wellbeing Consultant. She teaches Dramatherapy at the University of Roehampton and Storytelling at Central School of Drama. As a freelance therapist she works with women at risk from the criminal justice system and mental ill health, as well as with pupils excluded from mainstream education. Samantha Adams has a small private practice and her consultancy work with theatre companies includes Unicorn Theatre, National Theatre, Clean Break and Shakespeare’s Globe. She volunteers as an Executive Member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) where she recently proposed and facilitated a conference about institutional racism. Academic research interests include ritual theatre performance.
