Benjamin Kwasi Burrell

Benjamin Kwasi Burrell trained in Jazz Piano at Trinity College of Music and has a Masters in Scoring for Film, Television & Video Games from Berklee College of Music. 

For the National: as composer and arranger, A Taste of Honey (on tour and in the West End); as composer and music director, Small Island 

In London’s West End, as assistant musical director: Memphis and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill

Other theatre as assistant musical director includes: One Love at Birmingham Rep; A Clockwork Orange at Theatre Royal Stratford East. 

Benjamin Kwasi Burrell has performed, composed and arranged for bands and artists including Zara McFarlane, Cape Verdean singer Carmen Souza, Jazz Jamaica, the Jazz Jamaica All Stars Big Band, New Civilization Orchestra, and the Tomorrow’s Warriors Jazz Orchestra. 

He is Musical Director of the House & Garage Orchestra.
