Thank you so much to everyone who has supported National Theatre Together and added a leaf to The Tree. Over 600 leaves will envelop the Lyttelton Foyer in a spectacular canopy this Summer, celebrating how you have nurtured the National Theatre during this most challenging time in our history.

Your support enables us to help shape a bright, creative future for us all, with theatre-makers and communities. For young people and, of course, for our audiences. Thank you.

For now, The Tree has reached full bloom. If you would still like to make a donation to National Theatre Together and help to celebrate everything that we do, please click on the link below.

Thank you for your support.

We hope this project will inspire our communities to stand with us and equip us to do what we do best; shape a bright, creative future. This installation will enliven our public spaces and give everyone the bright and creative welcome that they deserve.

Following a competition open to recent finalists in the prestigious Linbury Prize for Stage Design, we’re delighted that Rose Revitt, winner of the 2019 Prize has been commissioned to create the installation. The Tree will illuminate our foyers and, as it grows, show how audiences and supporters nurture the National Theatre.

Everyone who donated £100 or more by Monday 14 February has had the opportunity to add a leaf inscribed with their name (or the name of a loved one) to The Tree, helping it to grow. If you have any questions about The Tree, please email [email protected] or call 020 7452 3218.
