1830-40s Britain 
Join Dr Kristy Warren (Historical Advisor for Rockets and Blue Lights, Research Associate at the University of Leicester) for a historical insight into one of the key time periods of the play. Kristy will look at what was happening in the Caribbean, Americas and London in the 1830s - 40s, and the true history of abolition. Kristy will speak for around 30 minutes, and take questions from the audience live for the last 15 minutes.

Post-show discussion 
Join Mumba Dodwell (Staff Director) ​and guests to talk about responses to the themes of the show, including Britain’s history with enslavement. Guest speakers are TBC.
