Introduction to Performance

A chance to explore different approaches to performance in a safe and supportive environment.

Led by theatre director Michael Bryher, this nine-week course is most suitable for those who have not had any prior training.

The course will include:

- Ensemble work: group exercises and games to develop your ability to work as part of a team

- Character work: a variety of exercises to help develop character, exploring the physical as well as the emotional

- Improvisation: learn how to use improvisation to explore realistic relationships and characters

- Voice: learn about your own voice and how to harness its power both in performance and life

- Text work: a variety of approaches to text that will give you the confidence to work with different scripts
