National Theatre - Open Casting Call

We are looking for actors from the deaf community for a new play.

Role 1. We are looking for a Deaf, BSL user, female-identifying actor. This character is also part of the LGBTQ+ community and communicates orally (uses voice) in some scenes, playing age mid 20s, and can be from any ethnic background.

Role 2. We are looking for actors who are part of the deaf community, who are fluent in BSL but don’t identify as deaf themselves, female identifying, playing age mid 20s and any ethnic background. This character is also part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Role 3. An actor with a high level of BSL fluency. Any playing age, gender and background.

To be considered you must be available full time between 20 June – 7 July 2022.
