THE PITMEN PAINTERS wins Evening Standard 'Best Play' Award

Lee Hall's The Pitmen Painters has been named Best Play at the 2008 Evening Standard Theatre Awards.  Following sell-out seasons at Live Theatre, Newcastle and the Cottesloe, this humorous, deeply moving and timely look at art, class and politics returns to the Lyttelton Theatre from 21 January - 14 April.
