Young Patrons Appeal

'Following the fantastic success of Double Feature in 2011, which was supported by the Young Patrons, our group has attracted attention as a community of individuals who can make a significant impact and ensure that the NT can continue to produce the most exciting theatre.'

Charles Dorfman, Chair of the Young Patrons Committee

The Young Patrons Appeal this year is an opportunity for you to support a project featuring a young theatre company in our new studio theatre − The Shed.

The Shed is our temporary venue that has popped up on the South Bank, created to deliver adventurous, ambitious and challenging work. We invite you as a Young Patron of the NT to come together with your fellow members to support an exciting show in the opening season − Mission Drift by The TEAM.

Our target is to raise £25,000 to support this production, and we will acknowledge your support by giving you exclusive access to behind-the-scenes activity, and a chance to meet The TEAM.

At times our successes on stage can mask the fact that the National Theatre is a charity. But the fact is we rely on philanthropic contributions from individuals to keep producing the work on and off-stage. In return for your generosity, we are delighted to offer the following opportunities, giving you special access to the artistic process:

If you contribute £50+

We offer… an invitation to the exclusive welcome party to The TEAM when they touch down in London

Your contribution will fund… one Visa for a member of The TEAM to come to the UK

£100+

Will ensure… one nights accommodation for one member of The TEAM during their stay
