Friday Rush

General Friday Rush information

Please note: There will be no Friday Rush on 29 March.

Between 12.30pm and 1pm on Fridays, the link to book Friday Rush tickets will appear on this page: ‘Book Tickets for Friday Rush’. Click on the link to join the queue for tickets, and a random queue number will be assigned to everyone trying to book.

If the random queue number you are assigned at 1pm in the next Friday Rush is above 120, it will take longer to reach the front of the queue and there will be less chance of you being successful this week.

Friday Rush tickets are are non-transferable.  For detailed ticket information, you can read our Friday Rush Terms & Conditions.

The next Friday Rush

At 1pm on Friday 5 April, we will release £10 Friday Rush tickets for performances of Nye, London Tide and Underdog: The Other Other Brontë at the National Theatre, and Standing at the Sky’s Edge at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, between Monday 8 April and Sunday 14 April.

Please note: We are not open on 29 March and there will be no Friday Rush.

As well as £10 Friday Rush tickets, some standard full price tickets may also be available.

On 5 April, Friday Rush tickets will available for the following week’s performances of these shows:

A man (Michael Sheen) wearing dark striped pajamas and plaid slippers, is standing amongst billowing pale green curtains.

Nye

in the Olivier Theatre

Two women in thin white dresses stand in a river, soaking wet, one is pushing her hair back from her face. A low-lying city skyline and bridge are behind them in the distance.

London Tide

in the Lyttelton Theatre

Three women stand together, all facing to camera, the middle one, slightly higher than the others, seems to be trying to push the others, who each hold a pen, aside. All wear red shirts and skirts and the middle one has a large red bow tied at her collar.

Underdog: The Other Other Brontë

in the Dorfman Theatre

Standing at the Sky's Edge

at the Gillian Lynne Theatre
