London’s most thrilling theatre at tiny prices.
Our twelfth Travelex season will offer 100,000 £15 Tickets for six plays.
The National Theatre’s partnership with Travelex means that almost half the seats for a range of new productions are £15 (and the rest at £25 and £35).
The shows in the 2014 Travelex £15 Season are as follows:
- Medea by Euripides with Helen McCrory in the title role, directed by Carrie Cracknell.
The play will be broadcast live to cinemas around the world via NT Live on 4 September.
- The James Plays by Rona Munro, co-produced with National Theatre of Scotland open at the National in September, following their world premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival in August. The cast includes Sofie Gråbøl, Blythe Duff, James McArdle, Andrew Rothney and Jamie Sives; directed by Laurie Sansom.
- Lloyd Newson’s DV8 Physical Theatre return to the Lyttelton with a new production, JOHN, in October.
- David Hare’s new play, Behind the Beautiful Forevers, based on the book by Katherine Boo, directed by Rufus Norris.
This production concludes the 2014 Travelex season.
The price is the only thing that’s small - this is theatre on a major scale, with leading directors and fantastic companies of actors.
General public booking is open for Medea and The James Plays, and opens on 18 July for JOHN, and Behind the Beautiful Forevers.
