Attempts on her Life: Home Martin Crimp’s Attempts on her Life is playing at the National Theatre from 8 March – 10 May. A roller-coaster of late 20th-century obsessions, the play covers pornography to ethnic violence, terrorism to unprotected sex – a perfect story to encapsulate our time. This is its first major UK revival since 1997. It is directed by Katie Mitchell, whose recent production Waves was a sell-out success at the National. Expect live music, high decibels and multi-media effects - this production has 90s nostalgia with a contemporary twist. This site enables you view audience comments, watch a trailer made from rehearsal footage of this new production or listen to interviews with the writer Martin Crimp and director Katie Mitchell talking about their work. For the first time you can also comment by blog on this National production. Send in your review once you’ve watched the production or comment if you have read or seen the play before. Perhaps you saw it in 1997 when it was premiered, or just have something to say about the last 10 years…

It is also the first production in the National's excellent Travelex £10 ticket season.
