Entry Pass: Business of Being an Actor
Thursday 1 November, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Join us for an insight into the business of working as an actor. This workshop is split up into two sections. During the day you will observe the audition process at the NT and have a Q&A session with a member of the Casting Department and an actor. In the afternoon, there will be a practical workshop in which you can learn how to present yourself in auditions and interviews with support from a leading NT practitioner. Lunch will be provided.
This workshop will take place at Lower Hall, St Andrew’s Church, Short Street, London, SE1 1LJ
Please note that this is an insight into the way the National Theatre works rather than how to become an actor at the National Theatre.
Delivered by National Theatre staff and working theatre practitioners these practical workshops are an opportunity to build on your skills and gain a greater insight into the workings of the NT.
Tickets £20
On the date of the workshop please make your way straight to St Andrew’s Church (Short Street, London, SE1 1LJ) and not the main NT building
Only one place available, per Entry Pass member, for each individual session. Bookers must be Entry Pass members – sign-up online.
