Staging War Horse Exhibition

Adapting Michael Morpurgo's much-loved novel for the stage began in 2004, and involved every production department within the National Theatre, and a groundbreaking collaboration with South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company

This new exhbition tells the full story of War Horse's journey from the first early workshops to the stage - through designs, costume, models, puppets and video.

Since premiering at the National Theatre in October 2007, War Horse has become one of the most successful stage productions in history. Currently in its fourth smash hit year in the West End and performing to sold out audiences in New York and Toronto, this landmark theatre event has been seen by over two million people worldwide. Future productions are scheduled across North America, the UK, Australia and Germany.

Monday - Saturday from 9.30am - 11pm
Sunday (when open) 12pm - 5.30pm
