• Clore Learning Centre

Ever wondered how sets are created?
Hungry to engage in debate about theatre?
Want to learn how to turn an idea into a play?

In October 2014 we open our dedicated centre for people of all ages to get hands on, practical experience of theatre making.

  • Secondary & FE

The Learning Department offers a range of activities including Continuing Professional Development for teachers, workshops and Q&A's for school and college groups, masterclasses and events around specific shows.

  • Connections

A national festival of new writing and young theatre making. The concept is simple - exciting new plays, commissioned by the National Theatre and performed by youth theatre groups across the UK, with professional support from the NT and its partner theatres.

  • Theatreworks

Our training courses cover diverse subjects such as Personal Impact, Body Language, Influencing Others, Developing Resilience and Voice.

  • Primary and Early Years Programme

NT Learning offers a range of activities and projects for nurseries and primary schools throughout the year. The Primary and Early Years programme includes touring productions, workshops, CPD for teachers and projects working with local parents and families.

  • About NT Learning

NT Learning gives everyone the chance to discover new skills and experience the excitement of theatre-making, through inspiring projects at the National Theatre, in schools and with people of all ages across the UK.
