Paul Arditti's sound designs for the National include The Magistrate, London Road, Collaborators, One Man Two Guvnors (also West End), Blood and Gifts, Love the Sinner, Nation, The Revenger's Tragedy, The Year of Magical Thinking, Never So Good, Happy Now?, Saint Joan (Olivier Award 2008), Market Boy, The President of an Empty Room, The Pillowman (also on Broadway, Drama Desk Award 2005).

Other theatre includes Red Velvet at the Tricycle Theatre; In The Republic of Happiness, In Basildon and Jumpy (also West End), at the Royal Court; Feast, Three Sisters, The Changeling and The Beauty Queen of Leenane at the Young Vic; The Bee (New York); Company at Sheffield Crucible; Mary Stuart at the Donmar and on Broadway (Tony nomination 2009); Festen for the Almeida, West End and on Broadway (Evening Standard Award 2004); and Billy Elliot The Musical in London, Australia, USA and Canada (Olivier Award 2006, Drama Desk and Tony Awards 2009).

Recent opera and dance include Dr Dee at Manchester International Festival and ENO and The Most Incredible Thing at Sadler's Wells.
