Tour the building
The National Theatre is the largest theatre-producing complex in the world. It stages over 20 productions a year to audiences of more than 600,000 people. Home to a vast range of activity, both on and offstage, we reach people around the world in many ways, including extensive education and outreach programmes, a free summer theatre festival, touring, live cinema broadcasts and rich digital resources. Since its inception in 1963, the National Theatre has staged well over 700 productions and developed a rich archive of creative projects and inspiring resources. This collection features video about the three very different theatres in the building and what it takes to run them.
