Sound

The electronic treatment of sound complements the National Theatre's live music and natural vocal policies in a number of ways; our sound engineers amplify music in the band room, sometimes give a gentle boost to voices on stage and mix in pre-recorded sound effects, before sending the signals off to a network of speakers around the three theatres.
