Access to the Cottesloe
The Cottesloe has its own entrance on the east side of the building. It is the National's smallest and most adaptable theatre, with seating for up to 300.
Due to the flexible nature of the space, the seating arrangement varies with each production – Box Office staff will help you find seats to suit your needs, so please ask when booking. There are three levels in the Cottesloe, one of which has level access from the foyer; the other two are reached by stairs.
Cottesloe Foyer: Ground Floor
The foyer opens an hour before each performance or half an hour before a Platform. Access is from Cottesloe Avenue (by the IBM building), via five steps or a ramp. Opposite the main doors are the box office, bookstall and cloakroom; the bar is to the right. There is also a bar accessible by stairs. There's flat access from the ground floor foyer to the back of the Pit and two wheelchair accessible spaces. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor – inside the right-hand entrance to the Cottesloe auditorium, through a set of semi-automatic doors.
