Oxfam Outdoor Exhibition
The World Can't Wait In the run up to the G8 conference in Germany, Oxfam will hold an outdoor photographic exhibition reminding world leaders that two years after their Gleneagles summit they need to fulfil their promises to Make Poverty History. Around 50 world-class images will be erected against the dramatic backdrop of the South Bank, available for all passers-by to see in Theatre Square. The World Can't Wait will be focusing on access to vital public services– health, education, water and sanitation– that are key to transforming the lives of people in poverty.| Zambia: Learning to read will greatly improve girls chances for the future. Thanks to your campaigning, which put pressure of the G8 to give more aid and debt relief, Zambia’s government has announced plans to employ more than 4,500 more teachers.
