‘One of the most exciting things I have ever seen’
Lynn Barber, The Observer, 2007
With armies on motorbikes, witches on stilts and a spectacular burning castle, Teatr Biuro Podròzy’s award-winning adaptation of Macbeth comes to London following its sell-out run at last year’s Edinburgh Festival. The company has established an enviable reputation since they first stunned audiences in 1993 with the bleak and shocking Carmen Funebre. They have subsequently toured to over 40 countries and premiered their adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness at the National Theatre.
Performed in English. Standing tickets. 70 mins.
Performed in a newly adapted site beside the river, outside the Stage Door.
All tickets £10
