Philip Quast

This summer sees the return of the popular series of revealing interviews with NT actors, over afternoon tea. Chaired by Al Senter.

Today's guest is Philip Quast, who currently appearing as Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and is rehearsing as George Tenet in Stuff Happens. His previous work at the National includes South Pacific and Sondheim's Sunday in the Park with George for both of which he won Olivier Awards for Best Actor in a Musical. Theatre also includes The Seagull and The Merchant of Venice at Chichester, The Secret Garden for the RSC and The Fix at the Donmar. He has played Javert in Les Misérables in the West End, Manchester and Sydney.
