 John Hodge introduces his new play and the inspiration for writing it; and we explore the background to Bulgakov’s relationship with the Moscow Art Theatre, and how he came to write his play about Stalin, with extracts from that play. Who’s Who in the company, and Johan Persson’s photographs of them in rehearsal complete the programme.
